Quick question, figured someone out here should know the answer to.

Just got a new PD and I'm trying to get it registered for warranty and what not and cannot find the serial #. It should be, as Minn Kota states, "Inside the mount below the motor rests". Checked there, took the side-plates off on both sides, took the motor rests off and still no serial number. Anyone know where it should be?

(for what it's worth, I did not install the unit).

I was looking for mine this weekend, as I had to replace the circuit board to the tune of $136.00. Used to be a tag on the bottom of the powerhead, the only one I found was on the inside plate of the wireless panel, which isn't for the motor as it's an add on. It had a tag on it at one time as I had it written down at home.

Found it. Not even close to where they said it should be...

I just received my Terrova 80. I read that I do not have to send in the registration card for the warranty. I would just need my original receipt for warranty coverage. Can anyone please clarify for me?

Thanks, Tom

Go online to the Minnkota site and register it there. Have your serial number and UPC code handy.
