i got the new Cablels Fishing 2010 catalog today and see that Lowrance has a new Elite series sonar/gps in color for a decent price in a 5" screen. Does anyone have any info or feedback on them?

Thanks

Check out the website. All the info and specs on them are listed. A far as feedback, you are not going to get much because these units are not even available yet.

That's correct! They were just introduced at Icast, the consumer launch is this April. Lowrance didn't even have these at the Northwest Sport Show that started today in Minneapolis.

I was sorta hoping someone had done some field testing on them, and maybe had some feedback, Oh well. Hopefully this is a unit they wont have to work the bugs out on. Im looking to replace a old 332C this year and really like the pricing on this unit.

I had them at the Milwaukee sports show and got to demo them during the show. They seem like really nice units especially for the price. Alot of the same features as the HDS units, but for a smaller price. For someone who is not concerned about networking units or using the new structure scan, these will be a perfect. I know some dealers are taking pre orders already. While I was at the show I believe Reed's took over 50-60 pre orders for these units in just a couple days. Also be aware that these units also use micro sd cards now.

I've had one for a couple weeks now and really like it so far. I don't have much to compare it against as it's by far the nicest unit I've ever used but so far it is great. The detail is awesome and the thing is simple to use. Great unit for the price.
