Location: MN		Did they ever come up with a fix/upgrade for the shallow water problem they were having on these and other units (where it doesn't read depth under 3' or so)? If so is it something I can get from their website and do myself? Do they provide step by step instruction? And which upgrade is it? Thanks.

Location: Stevens Point, WI		The 332C is a pretty old unit when it comes to fish locators. However, here is a video of the fix your talking about that works on the 520, which is the unit that took the place of the 332. I'm not sure if the 332 has the shallow water mode or not, I have not used that unit in a long time so I can't remember.

You also need to make sure you have the latest software update. You should have version 1.9. Here is where you can find all the software updates.

Watch this video clip, and try it on your unit. If the unit has the shallow water mode, this will fix it.
