I've lost too many fish with the regular hooks that come on the baby shallow raiders and the baby depth raiders and wondering what some of you guys replace them with..

I'm looking for a hook maybe one size bigger that is not thick.. a thin yet strong hook..

Does it exist?

I pull all the hooks off the baby depthraider and put 2 mustad 2/0 wide bend 2x hooks on, leaving the middle hook off. I T the front hook.

On baby shallow raiders I have used mustad round bend 3/0 and it slightly retards the action and causes them to suspend. I only out hooks on front and back hangers, nothing on middle.

The mustad round bends are great replacemnt hook on these baits. Wider gap for one you Joe puts the 2/0's on but you could also put 3 1/0's on and have a wider gap and not have extra weight.
