| I've been using lexan lips for years on my lures and have a great way to ensure they do not move. I epoxy them in the slot and when the epoxy hardens I then use a brad air nailer and shoot a 3/4" brad nail thru the bottom of the lure and into the lexan lip.
I now want to start using a metal lip, so my way of using the brad nailer will not work.
Any helpful tips out there?
thank you very much, kelly |

Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | Don't your lexan lips crack when you shoot the brad through them?!
For metal lips, I drill holes in them and screw them in with small 1/2" screws recessing the screw heads in the body of the bait. The only tricky part is making sure your holes line up perfectly through the bait and the metal lip. |

| thanks, sounds like a good idea. the great thing about lexan is that it will not crack. If using plexi-glass it would crack |
