This is somewhat off topic but what do you guys use to seal your lures after you paint them or touch them up. I had a grandma that I painted in the original black & silver rapala color with spray paint and covered it with a spray on waterproof sealer. After about 5 casts the sealer started peeling off. I know of Envirotec but I didn't want to spend $16 for just a small project. I suppose I could just paint & not seal which should last for a little while. Just curious about some other options. Thanks

That Envirotech $16 spend will be worth all of that and then some. If you apply it with some cheapo brushes you can buy like 3$ per 300 or so. From patchwork to re-paints you cannot go wrong with this stuff. It is as close to bullet proof as you can get. The biggest negative I've found is guys that do not want that glossy look on their bait. I've found that if you time the drying process you can take the lure when it is almost cured but just needing a couple more hours to firm up and just work it in your hands you will leave a dull finish on the bait.
