| I'm sure it's been covered before but I couldn't find it. I have an old maroon Abu 6500, if I threw a powerhandle on there could it handle a DCG or would I be better off getting a 7000? Thanks for any help!! |

| It would work but you would still be better off with a 7000. You could try and see if you can get the 3.8:1 winch gears with the power handle, that might not be a bad setup. |

| Thanks much for the reply. I'm basically wondering if it's worth the $100 (ebay) to get the 7000 or if the 6500 can handle it without having to buy that reel. I have a Red Isis that can do the smaller stuff so this is more of a backup and a reel for guests. How hard would it be to change the gears? Thanks again! |
