Hey Guys
I have a question, is there an alternative clear coat that is tough as nails
besides any epoxy's, that could be sprayed.

Thanks in advance

if its sprayed its thinner. only automotive clears which require multiple coats ans not good on wooden lures because it cannot flex. believe me ive been at this for a fair amount of time. i grew up painting back in the lacquer era.

I remember those days, stripping down old muscle cars and having two choices laqueur or enamel.
The hardness to learn was fixing scratches or old rod holder holes from a fiber glass boat, all that hard work back then paid off.

Thanks for the input.
