Location: Watertown, MN | We appreciate the support from you guys calling in with your concerns about the Cass Lake spearing ban lift. We spent 2+ hours in the house tonight and will see where things go. Thanks to John, Shawn and Aaron for the support and speaking in the house.
After the meeting we spoke with several of the opposition, and they made the statement that a couple of business owners received some very threatening emails, please do not send threatening emails, this does not promote our cause and we do not want to be perceived as a violent group; we wish no harm on anyone or anyone's property. Thanks for the support and fight the good fight.

| Just to reiterate what Troy said - please be respectful when contacting members of the legislature or other involved parties. No matter how passionately we might be opposed to something, it does no good at all to come across as wild-eyed and hysterical, much less outright threatening.
Be brief, be respectful, state your opinion, and thank them for their time. All one needs to do. | |

| Here are a few good articles I found with suggestions for contacting a legistlator. Rob summed it up well.
