Well I blanked this round. Just a bunch of northerns in the boat...and not so much as even a musky seen all day. [:blackeye:]

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted...who knows maybe I got through on the seeding [:p]

That is why this crazy sport is called Muskie Fishing, not Muskie Catching. Beav and I moved a bunch of fish, and had several try to take the lure, just never got one stuck. Next time you will get 'em!!!![]

Greg,

We started fishing at 5:00AM and during the day we missed not 2, not five, we missed SIX fish! We managed to loose another one 1/2 way to the boat. But, just when we were thinking someone in a higher place would not allow us to get on the board, a scrappy 31 1/2 managed to eat a bucktail. I used all of my skills and knowledge, yet somehow the fish stayed on.

So, it looks like team 16 managed to dink its way to round three with six points. We should change our team name to "the dink masters".

Must have been tough conditions for you. I was sure we were goners.

Hey Brian,

Congrats on the win!! I guess sometimes the musky gods smile on us just when it seems like all hope is lost. []

I knew I was in trouble with all the unstable weather we've been having lately. For whatever reason, the lake I fish just doesn't seem to produce (for me anyway) unless there's been 2-3 days of stable weather before hand.

Good luck in the next round...[;)]

Darn, we lose half the Canadian contention to a 31.5 incher by slamr the dinkmaster and his suporting buddy boro.

I hope they make it through the next round so I can avange your lost in the final 4. []
