Location: In a shack in the woods | I don't think the record will last very long with 10's. A lot of people are using calcuttas. I'm using a torium 14 for now. After I can touch a calica I'm sure that will be my next reel for it |

| i use the St Croix AC300 which is basically a diawa luna but $30 cheaper. I haven't had any problems. The paddles are bigger than calcutta 400b and you seem to work less. |

| I would stay away from the record for 10s. I went through 2 before I gave up. |

| reels that really burn double tens are not light...Trinidads and the Saltist for example.
one thing you can do to balance the rod if you put a heavy reel on it are put the Bass Pro Rod balancers on them...I have them on all my rods from walleye to musky...don't know how guys use rods w/ out them really...
good all around reels that will bring in double tens avg to slow speeds would be Revo's, Calcuttas, Penn 975, Luna, etc.

| Saltist 30HA, levelwind. Love mine, pretty big to palm but it is a beast, i throw everything on it, from small single blade bucktails to pounders and 2-pounders, everything. |
