After burning my hands on the grill cooking for the MuskieFIRST outing on Sat.

Treats is gone and I slept for 16 hours.

We didn't even wet a line.

Congrats Team Full of Bull.

You win by blanking again.[:knockout:]

I have to renegotiate my contract and get rid of that pesky little 'appearance clause' that's in there.
Team full of bull advances.
Team full of excuses does not.
I'll have to talk to my boss today and see if I can get back the vacation day that I burned to fish against the invisible men.[:blackeye:]
All that pre-fight hype, and one of the boxers doesn't even show up.
Well WORRALL....the battle cry of 'fishless til the finals' still can be heard.

Perhaps you didn't read my post Mr. Beav. Your partners no show this weekend for the Tonka outing created a 16 hour snooze for this young man. I wonder if that rice burner really broke down or if it was a clever ruse to tire out the Shady one?

We're both too old and brain dead to come up with anything that clever. You have to learn to deligate authority at those outing and put some of the other participants to work. This aint no free ride.
Perhaps we can have a friendly little rematch when we're all together in Sept. I'll be on vacation though, so there will definitely be a 3hr siesta in there someplace. No more of these sun up to sun down sling fests. The rice burner isn't the only thing that's breaking down these days.

I picked up the Trooper yesterday from the repair place, drove it home, and on the way----it overheated again. Guess I will head for the Isuzu dealer in Wausau to see if their fancy diagnostic equipment can figure this out.

I don't organize the outings, nor do I set the agenda there. I do like to attend, and meet some of our MuskieFIRST friends. If my attendance is REQUIRED, the Outings Committee had better clarify that.

I actually was looking forward to fishing Tonka, and was dissapointed that I couldn't make it over there. So was Sue, who tolerated a hot, nasty, slow ride from halfway accross the state back here instead of heading for an enjoyable weekend on the water.
