Posts: 4080 Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | Mike,
I may be working in the area in May (Oak Creek power plnt.) If I am, I'll fish this event.
I'm looking for a partner to fish the MAC there in June ( Lambeau, dumped me for a younger, better looking guy...LOL..Haha) Sooo, I'm in limbo as far as the MAC goes.
MI. events are always fun.

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | This is one tournament I have fished for alomst as many years as it has been ran. Great way for people to learn the lake if they don't know it well. Almost everyone will be happy to share what works by the end of the day. All the winers who place will tell thier story of what worked to catch their fish.
You get a meal, very cool hat, door prizes and lots of raffles. Just a very good way to spend the day on the water then a good meal and some door prizes at the end. By far the best commordary among fishermen in any tournament I fish every year. Thats what Muskies Inc is all about!!!
Now this tournament is on 3 area lakes. Lots of room to fish all over now. Pewaukee has never been overly full with boats even when we had over 100 entered. Now we have three lakes to fish. Plenty of room to fish all your spots without too much compitition from other anglers. Lets spread the word around to make this a huge sucess.
Our club needs this to keep going since it's our only fundraiser. Stocking muskies, taking kids fishing and vets fishing all comes from this one event. Please help to spread the word...... |

Location: SE Wisconsin | I think I may jump on the bandwagon this year. . . Was on the water the day of the tourney last year, put a couple in the boat - guess I don't really have an excuse not to be a part of the event - or Muskies Inc! Game on |

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | Get on board Sam! We definitely need lots of boats to fish this so we can bring in some money for our club since we didn't have our main fundraiser banquet this year. It's a very fun tournament to fish, and now that it's open up to the other two lakes as well, you have a great choice of waters to fish. |

Posts: 1030 Location: APPLETON, WI | If anyone is fishing this and needs a partner in the boat for the tournament, I'd be interested in fishing it. Don't have anything going on that weekend and I'd be willing to split the cost of the entry fee + chip in for gas money. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if I get any bites (no pun intended) thanks! |

| This should be a great tournament with numbers of fifties showing up. Another thread claims there were 38 fifties caught last year on Pewaukee- so there should be at least a couple caught during this tournament.

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Come on people!!!
Lets make this 3 lake tourney a huge sucess. With 3 lakes dividing up the field there will not be any of the lakes loaded and over crowded. The muskies are spawning now and should be ready to roll by the 8th of May. Water temps are now in the high 50's and getting into the 60's by the 8th of May. That open the door to all lures from plastics to top water to crank baits.
Anyone can win this tournament. Just a great time had by all on this low key tournament. I will be happy to talk shop with anyone at the awards. Lots to be learned by fishing this. Plenty of shared info from lots of members and tournament anglers.
Please support our Muskies Inc Milwaukee Chapter and get into this tournamnet or stop out and be part of the awards and raffles at the Sussex Bowl after the day of fishing is over. Great food, door prizes and lots of great items to be raffled off.
Help us keep our area lakes stocked and our Kids on the water program going. |

Posts: 1030 Location: APPLETON, WI | My offer still stands. I don't have anything going on that weekend. I've had a few "maybe's" and "we'll see..." but nothing has been finalized as of yet. I'd love to get out there and have fun and fish this tourney if anyone has had a partner cancel on them... or if you still need a partner in your boat. I can split the cost of the entry fee with you plus flip you some cash for gas. Got all my own gear and I'm pretty much ready to go. Let me know if you need a partner! thanks! |
