I threw one and had clients throwing one the last part of the year. Not a bad reel for the money. I didn't throw anything big on it, but it held up well for throwing medium sized bucktails, cranks, and minnow baits. The power handle was a nice addition to.

The Chromer is a special build reel Okuma built for a customer and ended up with quite a few in inventory, and is a good deal for the dollars. Three bearings, if I remember correctly.

For an even better deal, check out the Okuma San Juan. Wal-Mart has the 250 size at a clearance price of $25. Should be about or less than $30 shipped. (Looks like the 400 size is unavailable at the moment.)

The San Juan has 5 BB with syncronized levelwind, and has a line-out alarm. I mainly use Indurons, but I have a few of the San Juan's and really like them as well. Hard to beat this deal IMO. Hope this helps!

I ordered one of the Okuma S-250 that are on sale at walmart.com for $25. With ship to store it came to $26.40 including tax. The S-250 is a right hand reel. I realize that the product information on the walmart website says it is a left hand reel, but the left hand reel is the S-250LX. Walmart.com also has the S-250LX for $25, but the S-250 is definitely right hand. I plan to use it as a backup reel. It's a little smaller than I usually use for musky. I usually prefer something like the 400 size for musky. In case anyone is wondering, the Okuma power handle that fits the Induron IDX-400 also fits this reel. I just picked it up and put the power handle on it. It seems like a nice reel for $25.
