| On the way to the first lake we saw a wolf, standing in the middle of HWY 8. Pretty cool. The coyotes are coming back from a bad Mange outbreak, and now we have wolves, too.
We started the day fishing Beav's water up north. Skies were overcast with rain and wind. We moved 5 fish, three hit but none stuck. 2 Northerns were the only fish willing to come into the boat.
We then came in for lunch, with skies clearing and big winds from the west. After a sandwich Beav provided from Subway, we hit the road and drove to Keith's favorite little backwoods lake. We moved 6 there, including the shorty Beav caught, 3/8" short of Match minimum. I had one blow out of the water and land on top of my spinnerbait after totally clearing the water. Yup, you guessed it, no hook up. Oh well, we moved alot of muskies, had a geat day, and deserve the 'best dressed' award for sure.
Sir Cady, report??[] | |

| We did not get a fish. I DID! Mr. Treats decided to leave town and leave me alone. Is it a muskie? Is it big enough? Pictures late tonight or early tommorow.

| Man....somebody let me know if we made it so I can start resting up for another fishing trip. I left Steve's house at 2AM so I could be back home in time for work today. I'm getting too old to keep up this pace without something getting broke or falling off.....I'm like an old vehicle.
We're saving it for the finals [;)]
Is it a muskie???? I doubt it or we would have heard you hollering all the way over here.
Is it big enough???? No way! Every woman tells us that. But then again, I only have to make myself happy[]
