Greg,

Answer your phone. Give us a post. Call me. I want to know what I missed on LOTW. Or JoMusky could also post. What's going on? How did you do? Did you get Miss Piggy? How was the water? The weather? Any of my spots work for you? Any didn't work for you? How many did you get? When did you get back? When are you gonna respond?

Wake UP!![:0]

Tight Lines,

Shep[:sun:]

I think Greg took the term "time on the water" too seriously. He spends all of it there. Good for him. I hope he aught miss piggy too.[:)]

LOL Sponger, had that sort of intensity at the beginning of our LOTW trip, but after 7 days and chucking lures approx 11 hrs each day, I was getting a little pooped.
Had a great time with JoMusky at the Woods, thanks again Joe for asking me to go. The east part of Sabaskong (East of Splitrock narrows)is a neat place to fish, smaller of course than the main part of Sabaskong which was a lot funner to fish cuz I was able to remember spots a lot better. Sunset Cove Camp is a great place to stay also, esp. for a MuskyNut. The owner is one!!

Trip tally wasn't what we had hoped, but we did manage 5 fish, the biggest a 42" on a Slammer crank. Yes, Shep was right, I did miss the Piggy, but not one but TWO!!!!! Joe moved some large fish also, we both had a good time and saw nice fish. Bigger fish were moving on glides. EAch day location changed from rocks to weeds, even preferred colors changed during the week. The only consistency we found to the fish was the time we moved them. If you moved a fish at 6:30 one day, make sure you are back in that general vicinity at 6:30 the next day. She might be out of the weeds into the rocks, but she will be active.
The 42 I caught was a textbook catch learned from these boards, fishing buddies, musky schools etc. We moved her at 1:00, went back at sunset. She followed out again, I got her on the fourth go round of the figure eight. Very cool and very exciting. I remember hollering loudly to Joe, "I Got her",'I got her". That was the first real fish I ever got on a figure eight, I was pumped.

The bigger fish seemed to want the gliders though, couldn't get hooksets into them, but we know where they live for next time.[] []
