| Well after 12 years the Jerko and Squirkos have a new home with Bill Buechner’s Monster Lures. The Jerko and Squirkos will be a nice addition to his awesome creeper line up. Bill came by yesterday to go through everything and we made up a bunch of Squirkos and also a hand full of Baby Squirkos. He will have them this weekend at the Madison show.
I also wanted to say Thank You! to all who supported these products over the years. I really had a fun time making and painting them, but I just don’t have the time to continue with their production myself. Bill will do a great job with them and he has a lot of cool ideas for future Monster Lure products.
Have a fun and safe fishing season!
Keith

Location: Norway | Jerkos are one of my go-to baits! They rock, hope Bill Buechner will continue them in the same fashion. And bring back the white bellied perch

| Squirkos have always been one of my go to baits! There are times when it is about the only thing I can catch fish on!! I have a lemonhead one that is completely chewed up. After Keith started putting some additional weight in the rear end of them, they even ran better than the original ones.
Good luck Bill. I think you bought a winner!

Location: McGuire AFB, NJ | Hey Keith before you jet I gotta a quick question far ya!
What type of leaders do you like to use for the baby squirko's? PLayed around a little bit with a new one I picked up and had a bit up trouble getting that thing to glide. I put it on my standard 100 floro stealth leader and knew right away that it wasn't gunna work to well. I then tried a wire leader and still was having trouble getting it going. Any insight would be great!

Going from Kieth to Bill will only result in a win win situation. Bill now can expand his buisness and supply us will the colors and sizes we need. Very cool deal!!!
Looking forward to talking to Bill at the MadTown Show. |

| What a deal for everyone involved. The squirko is a great bait that puts some really nice fish in my boat year in and year out. Im looking forward to the new colors and changes Bill will throw at both baits. |

Location: north central wisconsin | I sure have enjoyed doing busines with Keith over the last several years, and as Chad explained, the squirko(baby and regular) and jerko(baby and reg) are magic at times. One thing, I know Keith sent an email on this once and I cannot place it. I was told to put some weight in the rear of my squirko I beleive, to get it to run better. If I remember correctly, this was a 1/4 oz(or so) egg in the tail end, then reattaching the twister. Is this correct? Thanks again Keith for the great service. You still going to be doing some painting? |
