Location: Des Moines IA | What is the difference in performance, between say, Mason crimps, and Berkley Sleeves, when making Flouro leaders? Are these sleeves even the same thing as a crimp? | |

| Not sure about either of those. I've had the best luck with double barrel crimps for flouro leaders. You can order them off muskytackleonline.com. | |

Location: Grinnell, Iowa | Go with the Mason double barrel sleeves and crimp them down tight.

| Yep, you want double barrel sleaves. I use the ones out of the offshore angler catalog. They're black. I think they're called mini double barrel sleaves. | |
