Do you guys let your Dawgs sit out of the package for a while before using them or just start casting them. The reason I ask is because of the strong rubber smell or maybe that dosen't matter. Thanks

It may not matter but muskies do have a good sense of smell as many other fish and I believe that does play a huge role instead of just sight predator reflexes!

when a fish is following its probably taking a wiff of the smell too see if its going to taste good!!!

Nope.

The Muskie's olfactory senses are actually pretty poor. I wouldn't worry about it.
