| AHHHHHH, the come down to earth trip. After a few years of good luck on Eagle I got crunched this trip. Only managed to boat one 33" ski. Saw several pigs that had my heart a jumpin but they wouldnt go "actually one did but tossed the bait soon after the strike.
Falling water levels and falling water temps along with a few fronts during the week is my excuse. In truth, i think we just choked. There was a 49,50,51" caught in camp but overall the numbers usually seen were down. Pike and walleye were popping though, I heard.[:knockout:] | |

| Dave don't feel bad, I know a group that had the same experience last week fishing more western Eagle...Biggest they had in camp was a 43...for the week. Ouch!

| I saw two fish on last week. One monster followed a chartruse double bladed spinner with a black twister tail to the boat and then gave me the finger. The other shot up out of a weedbed boatside for my walleye colored bulldawg. I guess that's not too bad when we were targeting everything that bites. We did manage to boat 4 32" pike and several others around 30. Not monsters, but definitely fun![::)] | |

| Yeah, the fish did seem to grow middle fingers up there! I think that is what was causing the wake during the follows![:knockout:] | |
