I am looking for a new double 10-13, and large lure reel. How is the casability of this reel? The distance and accuracy of this reel.

D. All of the above. The reel is built like a tank. My buddies Tim and Paul have been using them for a couple years for just the applications you describe. 4 Bills , but worth every penny.

I have a 700B and really like it. I saw the 700te at a bass pro shop and it looked freaking sweet.

Do you still have to manually engage the free spool or could you just start reeling? That reel does have a nice all around gear ratio,at 4.7 to 1, power with some speed.

Yes the 700 TE is a manual engage but very easy to get accustom too. Awesome reel!

It took about 3 casts with the 700b to get used to the manual engage. I don't even think about it anymore when casting.

For those who have used both the 700TE and the 700B did you notice a big difference in the performance of the reels given the big price difference.
