Beginner question. Last summer, had a 46" musk destroy the flashabou on my bucktaill. Do I need to take the bucktail apart to retie the flashabou or can I just cut it off and tie on a new skirt? Is there a brand or certain size flashabou I should use. Any tricks to retie it. Thanks.

As a commercial tyer, I'll just say that I never trust zip ties.... I'm sure some here have used them with no problems, but I only ever use thread, which I seal with silicone or epoxy depending on application.
