Can anyone tell me about this flowage I heard it has been drained a couple of times in the past. Hows the water (clarity), if anyone has fished it for muskies or walleyes. If there are any lodges or resorts on the water?

dairyland is a tantric stained lake that is mostly river (flambeau) it has been drained twice in the last 25yrs but only down to the main river channel, last yr it was back at full pool and the muskies were on , we have had seven fish days there with a few over 50 the water last year was the clearest it has ever been lack of rain and new weed growth really cleared it up, there are now hotspots maps of all the new structure we added while the water was down, pretty easy lake to fish, there are walleyes but not alot mostly on the smaller size but it is full of smallies some over 6lbs, no resorts on dairyland 3 new boatlandings campground at josie creek park, icefishing alot of guys are hooking ski's on there tip-ups, ladysmith is right there several motels, i own sportsmans bar in town if u need any info or for a beverage and also guide and work out of flambeau river outfitters in town

Semper, I will have to look you up on my next trip through. I come up several times a year and head into Exeland. I have friends there. Heading up soon to ice fish and bring the beagles to hare hunt....
