| Has anyone heard that the buttons are letting water in the unit? Have they corrected the problem? Thanks Todd |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | The HDS leak problem was with the larger units and on the very first ones. It was actually the screen that was letting the water in. I've been told from two different Lowrance Techs that the problem has been fixed. |

Location: Kodiak, AK | Supposedly it was the 3M sealant on the screen warming up as the unit ran and coming unsealed. If memory serves, a manufacture date after May or June of last year was supposed to have been corrected. They were mostly 7's, with a few 8's and 5's. But by far mostly 7's. |
