Anyone know what this froggy is? I've seen them before, it's about 5" body, 9" total, and made from wood. Who makes this, where, etc. any info is appreciated, Thanks.

I don't know what it is Tyler, but I think I'm going to make one. That looks pretty interesting.

It doesn't work too bad to be honest, just had to add a heavier hook to the bottom to keep the weighting right. It works pretty much like a frog in the water, doesn't move a lot of water but just enough to where it would get hit.

I think it is a Paw Paw Wotta Frog. Circa 1950's.

Here check this out.

Tyler,
I bet the farm that the frog is from ozark mountain lures , Luhr Jensen used to sell them along with a bunch of other wood topwaters ( woodwalker ) and a bunch of other bass size , I remember that Charlie Campbell from Bass Pro Shops had a line of signature lures with them back in the late 80's and early 90's. Do a google or yahoo search , i would bet you will find it . Rod

It's not a paw paw wotta frog. The Watta frogs are smaller and came with metal lips. They were made with either green splatter or yellow splatter paint jobs. I remember this bait as well from the 80's or 90's but can't place a name with it.
