Any suggestions for a hotel, preferably near the expo?  I prefer a property with a hot tub and bar on the premises, if possible.  Clean is a must, but new is not required.

The Concordia univ the expo site has suites they rent out during the show which means you sleep right at show site

I use Priceline every time I go to Minneapolis. You can't pick the hotel, but I figure I got more time than money. You can pick the quality of hotel and the general area and maybe have to drive a few more minutes. I stayed in Bursville last fall for two nights and with tax and all payed $109.00. Easy to get rooms in MPLS for $45.00 per night, and they even upgraded me to the Doubletree once.

Dave, I don't know if you got your room yet or not, but I just booked one for late March in Minneapolis with Priceline. They even upgraded me to a 3 Star hotel. For two nights including all taxes and fees, $98.42. Normal room rate at this hotels starts at $89.00 per night. Man I just love priceline. Hope you had good luck.
