Anyone found an easy way to remove etex from lures that need to be refinished?

Heat gun, works great, but watch the fumes. Be sure to ventilate.

Riverman,

Does it need to be completely stripped? if not a sanding sponge and some elbow grease will knock down high spots and even everything out enough to reprime and start over. Just got doing it to a devcon2T cleared bait that got away from me and it's on the wheel now and looks great.

i tend to use a stanley knife blade and peeling them like an orange almost gets most of it off
