I'm over at BPS alot and they have marked down their stuff that was already on clearance another 40-50% but it ends sometime next week I believe.

At the Gurnee, IL store they had:

6" Bucher Chrome depth raiders in green/chrome or purple chrome for $6.00

Lil Harvo 5" jointed and 6" straight lures for $6 and $7. I picked up a bass, a firetiger and a perch.

They also had a few 7'2" (2 piece) and 6'6" (1 piece) Pete Maina muskie rods that were marked down to $69 but now they are taking off an additional 20% on top of that.

They had 2 different color (red or clear) 10" Storm Giant Thunderstick lures for $5.

St. Louis store...doubt that it happened everywhere...few people down here have any clue what those rods are used for...funny thing is that a tiny little muskie section gets placed next to a relatively huge catfishing isle. Muskie baits in St. Louis consist of about 10 choices...a few storm baits, mepps muskie killers (two choices in color), and that's about it. Actually, was just there again two days ago, and I was pleased to see that they had a couple DC-9's and 8's (but only one color). I'm gonna guess and say that happened because of a certain guide down here on Kinkaid. More to the point of the thread, the Pete rod's were gone (there were only a couple to start with and I shared the info with a couple of guides at a nearby boat show and one of the guys went out the door seconds later...I'd bet that he picked up everything they had left.) They had restocked rods with the new bass pro muskie rod. Didn't really spend much time looking at them...they might be nice I really don't know. Cool thing is: they stocked quite a few of them in all sorts of lengths and actions. My guess is that these are the the same rods without Pete's name on them. Still a great price if that's the case. Prices ranged from $109-$60 depending on length and action. If anybody can confirm that's the deal with these rods it would appreciated.
