Knowing this I will work at being especially photogenic all weekend! My best view is from the other end of the fieldhouse!
I hope that there is a power failure, and the back up lighting system doesn't work!
I've got a face perfectly intended and made for radio!

Hey Steve, will you be filming some of the lures poolside? Quite a few new lures out there we'd like to check out again when we get home. Thanks!

I just drove up to Harper College, from about an hour south of there, set up my booth and drove back home. I probablly spent an extra 20 minutes each way at the most. the expressways are in pretty good shape all things considered with how much snow we got. they seem to be keeping up pretty good with salt and snow removal.

we drove over from MPLS on thursday,,,,,never in my life have I seen so many vehicles tipped over in the ditch,,,, all the way from MPL's to Chi,,,,looked like a 'Dukes of Hazzard' or 'Gone in 60 seconds" filming session,,,,,Ive seen storms where it puts cars in the ditch but never so many tipped up on their sides or compleatly flipped laying on the roof.

Thanks for the updates...makes those not there feel a little more closer to the action.
If someone has some free time and access to quick picture downloading, I would appreciate if a certain picture found its way to the post. In the Rick Lax booth there is a fish mounted on a stone background...I believe it's mine and I have not seen it yet. I caught a glimpse in one of Steve's pictures...looks like its upper left.
I choose Mr. Lax not only because of his great work and reputation, but also as a way to show appreciate for all his donations, like MuskieFirst's Big Fish Contest.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Steve: yes that's the fish - S bend facing down to the left
I can pick my mouth up off the floor now...

a few notes from the show.....

does andy from shark attack have the coolest voice ever?
does rollie and helens space keep getting bigger each year?
the paint job on some of these lures are unreal.
i use to pay $7 for a bucktail and thought that was insane.

Steve's holding a production prototype of our Krave jr. just painted it up with some other custom work. great pattern. We might have some customs completed before the ohio show and in shops march/april.
Show is going well, we had a fun time friday..

Spent about three and half hours Saturday morning and about $350.00. That comes to exactly $100.00 per hour of spending. I got out there before I lost my lunch money too. Good show however, and I agree about the size of the R&H booth, they really made a big splash this year. Also thought the hall was a lot more packed than during the same hours last year. I'm guessing that might mean a few tournaments getting closer to the number of teams the promoters are looking for. The bigger turnout, and long lines to checkout at R&H and Thornes made it look to me like maybe folks are ready to open the wallets again--about time! Marty Forman
