| Was just wondering what the rest of you thought. I know down at The Cave Tony and the guys take some time off because of the increased mortality in high water temps. Is that something we need to be aware of now in WI? I had surface temps up to 86 degrees. I know they will come down with a little cooler weather and rain but was wondering if I should be concerned. |

| As long as you dont do a complete photo session for 10 minutes and always keep the fish in the net you should be fine.
I will bring the fish out for no less then 10 seconds to take a quick pic if needed. They swim off fine and we dont find any floaters. I put transmitters on two low fortys fish two years ago on Pewaukee. Both fish caught trolling 20ft down in 80 degree water temps. Both fish lived and are still living from the last I heard.
The overall water temp is high so the fish are used to it. The dissolved oxegen is problem and some southern lakes dont have oxegen in certain water depths.
Overall if you take care of them like a "baby" in warmer water temps in Wisconsin you should be fine. |

| The shallows of Pewaukee are 84 degrees, the main lake is 80 degrees and the whole thing is very green. |
