| I have a LeLure Creeper which I got from Thorne Bros about 4 years ago. I just found out that I was lucky to get it. Apparently some guy bought the left over materails from LeLure and assembled a small quantity of which I got one.
Now I want a few more and can't find them anywhere. I've tried the Bauer and Slammer brands and they just are not the same. I've looked on eBay and what show up from time to time are the ancient old LeLure's which go for way too much $ and are collectors items, not something I would use regularly.
Does anyone know where I can get a good creeper? |

| The old "wooden" Hi-fins were a class act also. I have one that is very chewed up.
Check with Smokey's...John has some conections to lelure's |

| Do you know what the "ancient" Lelure's are going for? I have eight of them in different colors. I got them all when I worked at Indian Trail resort as there yard boy and Frenchy still had his trailer there. If you are not in a big rush I can make one for a reasonable price. I have been making surface baits for quite a while for friends and am thinking of starting to sell them. |

| Hi Topwater,
As I watch e-bay for HI-FIN Foolers with three hooks to pick up, I can say that I see Lelures quite often. Depending on the color, you will see a true Lelure creeper go for anywhere between $50.00 - $100.00 that was made by Frenchy. I tend to see most of them go around $50-65 the most. The globes by far fetch way more, and the occasional fetch n catch can go for over $100.00.

If you ever get up in the area of the Chippewa Flowage go to Deer Run Resort on River Road. There is a guy who stays there by the name of Bob who makes a good quality creeper. Real wood and through wire construction. He only make a few each year and they are only available at the Lodge at Deer Run Resort. The last time I was there (about 2 weeks ago) the had about 8 left. I have used them and they sound good.

| Lunch_box,
I got your email but for some reason I cannot send out any emails. None of the Lelures that I have came in a box, these were all made by Frenchy himself during the winter months before they were mass produced. As soon as I can figure out what is wrong with my email I will send you one, or if you want send me your phone number and I will give you a call. Thanks, Gary |

| Dang, I was dissapointed when I clicked on this thread. I wanted to give lunch box a creeper. I suppose slamr has given him plenty already. Now I find out he is talking about a lure. Geez! Oh well I hope he finds what he is looking for.[;)] |

|
| With the diseases Slamr has I wouldn't let him get close enough to give me a creeper. Simple contact and I might contract who know's what....well there's probably more then a few girls that could give us a list. [:p]

| Sorry I don't work there anymore. I worked there the summers of '89 and '90. I still go there as often as I can get away, been fishing the big chip since the mid 70's. If anyone is interested I can make all sorts of topwater baits and have been doing so for years. I get the feeling that there is a market for quality made baits and am going to start selling them, with the emphasis on quality and construction over quantity. |

| Topwater, I saw a smaller rounder body but same size wings creeper at Indian trail about 4-5 years ago. I wish I would have bought one. Do you know how to make that one? |

|
| Topwater, have any idea who made the LeLure Creepers I got from Thorne Bros a couple yrs. ago? One is black + the other is black top, red scale sides + soft yellow belly...both have Lelure on the side behind the left wing. Thanks....[:sun:] |
