| So, just wondering what the most muskies landed in a day of fishing that you have had or heard of. I recently had a day where we landed 12 of 17 bites in 7 hours of fishing. fish ranged from 35-46.5". I know this is the day of a lifetime and just seeing if anyone else has experienced this. Also, we were not trolling. |

Location: New Albany, Ind. | i dont feel so bad now posted on here that we have seen over 30 in 3 days, well now its over 40 because we connected with 11 last sat. caught 14 out of those , with the biggest being 3 43 , almost unbelievable. never seen the skis this crazy. lol hopefully all the clouds will make them even crazier today and morrow. the high 40s seem to b moving slow and cant get them to commit. before couple weeks ago i probaly wouldnt believe most of these storys on here but now i know it is very possible. everyone have a happy turkey day, got a two and half hour drive ahead of me to get to the hole. ron |

Location: Germantown, WI | MY brother and I once caught 7 muskies in less than 2 hours in Ontario. It was the morning that we were going to drive home. We had just enough time to get in a couple of hours of fishing before loading up and eating breakfast. The muskies that morning were 31-46". I'm not sure how many we've ever caught in one day of fishing. I know it is at least 7, but we've probably caught more than that a couple of times. It's a good of fishing for me any time I catch a musky. If I catch more than one it is a very good day. |

| 5 3/4 fish in 4 hours all between 39.75 - 44.75. The 3/4 of a fish was 3/4 of the the way in the net then out of the net then gone. But I did get the lure that was stuck to the side of its face. |

Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin | in 2005 we had an 18 fish day and lost 5-6 others fishing opening day on a lake system in NW Ontario. Mostly smaller fish (30's), but a few nice ones mixed in including two tigers. It was an incredible day that neither of us will ever forget.... |

Location: Geneva, IL | Between my son and I we landed 34 Muskies in a day. None over 40" and on medium-small Mepps and lighter gear. No net.
We were the only boat on the lake in the middle of nowhere.
This was a fly out guided trip in 2007 from Stanleys Resort on Eagle Lake Canada. Our guide was the original owner and his son was the pilot. What a wonderful day.

| My boat has had several 15, 16, 17 fish days in Canada. One particular 17 fish day we had a 50 and a 52 mixed in. In KY, the best day in the boat was 13 fish out of Cave and 10 out of Green. |

Location: Kronenwetter, WI | I've heard tell of a few small fly in lakes in Ontario that were intended to be used as a place from where the 'dnr' in Ont. would take fish to stock other lakes. So what was done is the lake was LOADED up with all these fingerlings only to find later that they were not the correct strain to be stocked in the other lakes, so they were just left there. Now as fly in lakes they are FILLED with small muskies plentiful and aggressive and make a great place to go for an unbelievable day of action, so 30-40 fish in a day is not unheard of. Never been, but would be a blast.
And okay--I'll toss in my meager 3-fish days---twice this year---once last year. |

| Best day for my boat was an 11 fish day during a snow squall in October.
But one of my favorite "action-moments" was on the Dairyland Res. about 8-9 years ago when right at sunset we pulled up to a spot and I caught 4 fish in 5 casts, all on topwater. IIRC, it went like this:
Cast 1: 34.5"
Cast 2: 32"
Cast 3: 35.5"
Cast 4: nothing,
Cast 5: 42.5"
Not huge fish, but that was a lot of fun. Had caught two earlier that day as well.

Location: Not where I wanna be! | We put 7 in the boat in 2 hours. I only caught 2 out of the seven, but it was a fast and furious 2 hours, including a true casting double which ended up with 92 inches of muskie in the net at the same time... |

| Well, thought 12 was a good day, ended up going again the last day of the season, November 30th and popped 15 fish with 7 others lost, one of which was lost right at the net. Still not bad with 15 muskies landed at 47, 47, 44, 42, 41.5, 41, 40, 40, 38, 37, 37, 36, 34, 33, and a lil' fella at 26". The one lost at the net was 45-46" and we also got a 36" pike. Others on the lake that we talked to that day caught nothing or 1 fish tops. Was a great season and the last 8 trips we boated 55 muskies! I ended the season with 42 muskies landed myself and about 80 total muskies in the boat in roughly 15 outings. This is in a lake that is very tough, not some Canadian muskie factory. I'm mostly a bass fisherman, but when I can catch muskies at the pace we were on, it's a blast! |
