Hey folks-

I'm currently working on an oversized lure for a buddy of mine... he's got a bar here in the Cities, and after showing him what I was working on in the basement, he got excited by the idea of having a wall hanger with his bar's logo on it. So... I'm trying to make a really (sort of) big bait.
However, since this isn't normally my thing I have no idea about scale, and the trouble right now is hook size. I'd rather bring the mostly completed lure with me in somewhere rather than ordering the hooks online, so I can make sure it looks 'right'. Haven't been able to find really big hooks anywhere, though... Anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!

Thorne Brother's has 10/0's in stock, i've seen bigger one's there too, just not sure what size they were. Give 'em a call and go check out their new location!

Hehe... yeah, that was part of the problem. I knew they had relocated when I was out looking, but didn't know exactly where their new location was. Didn't find any at Gander or the other shop before (can't remember the name), but I suppose I 'need' to make a trip to Thorne soon anyway.
