Location: lansing, il | I have about a 5-6 yr old 332C when i plug the unit in without even powering it up, it begins beeping and flashing. if i power it down, it automaticly comes back on and repeats. i have to unplug it and plug it in about a dozen times before it will act normal. periodicly during the day itll just start doing the same thing. usually fixes when i power down and back up. anyone have this problem or know if there is a fix, or am i lookin at a new unit?
i plan to send it back to lowrance if i can make it through the rest of the season, however i am guessing since its an older unit they will be telling me its not worth repairing.
thanks |

To do a soft reset, turn unit off first. Press and hold the pages key. Press and hold the power key. Release both keys when the USA map appears.
To do a hard reset, power the unit off first. Press and hold the zin & zout keys at the same time. Then press and hold the power key. Release both keys when the USA map appears.
*Remember, when doing a hard reset, it WILL delete all your waypoints.
If this doesn't help, you can do what Cowboyhannah suggests. However, more than likely you won't get a deal with that unit as old as it is anymore. I've been hearing of newer units than that not getting repaired or even offered a deal on a new one. |

Location: Kodiak, AK | I just had a 25C crap itself, and it would be $312 to get it repaired, and no, they weren't offering any kind of deals or rebates. It's worth a call though. As I was going through my ordeal I had guy emailing me telling me how their 25C had gone bad, and Lowrance sent them a refurbed 27C or a $100 coupon for HDS.... I didn't get crap, but it's at least worth a call. |

| I've had 3 units do the same thing over the years. The unit has moisture in it, and it will eventually just die. |

| When I took them inside for a week or two they did seem to dry out enough to get some quality use out of them before they would begin the flashing/beeping fest again. |
