| spent 2 nites and a guided trip with docesox and steve worrall. talk about a good time!!!!! the whole weeknd flew by, and can't decide what was more enjoyable. the story telling, the endless info this muskyhead provided, the AMAZING meals we ate, the detailed educating of pelican lake, or just the fun we had shottin' the sh**. it was one of the best investments i ever made, as well as one of the most fun, while of course helping ashton. i can't wait til october when me and rob from st croix rods do ski's,all fall-fattened up with steve again. if there are more trip that are offered with steve, i HIGHLY reccomend bidding! you won't be sorry... just bring some oversized clothes cuz' steve is gonna add some pounds to ya' with his chef skills!

| Me too....great time fishing and learning from Steve. He also steered me around Wabigoon for a few days as I went up there before the weekend. I did manage to get a 33" tiger from one of Steve's smallmouth bass areas---obviously the tiger was confused about location....[;)] .
We hammered the heck out of Pelican on Sunday and only managed a follow or two. But after being there with Worrall I feel I know the lake intimately.
It was nice to meet Esox69 (never did get the "story" behind the moniker). Steve Bloss is quite a musky studier himself and a true pleasure to be around.
All told it was a fabulous weekend...although a bit hot for this Alaskan. And all the better cause it helped Ashton.

| Both of these gentlemen were a pleasure to spend a day with, although the Pelican fish were not very cooperative. I had a great time!! The door at Worrall's Hideout is always open, and the coffee always on.
Thank you to both, and to Chuck for his generous donation of a guide day in the heat of his guiding season.[] | |
