Location: Houlton, WI | Hey, ive been spending most off my time this fall hunting and havent done much fishing. Im hoping to get out this weekend and i was wondering, have big baits been doing anything. Are there any specific baits or colors that have been working for you? |

Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | Nothing been moving down here for us, except using suckers. I hope that changes as they did chase suicks and jerk/glide baits at the end of last season. Maybe it's the weather and the fact that were able to throw baits all summer. I can't even get them to follow a bulldog.
Save your money and buy suckers,

We've actually been having the opposite results as Netman. This fall, artificials have been outfishing suckers for us which is very rare for this time of year. The past 3 weekends out, we've had at least one and usually two suckers out, and have only gotten one musky on them (2 other strikes); however, we have gotten 5 muskies on 11" Curly Sues over the same time period and lost one on a 10" Jake. I don't know what it is, but the Curly Sues are outfishing suckers for us so far. As far as colors go, a walleye-like pattern has been the hottest with some yellow in it as well.
Hope you're able to get out and net a few.

| Do many of you guys use bucktails/topwaters up until freeze up? All the reading that I have done, it seems like jerkbaits/crankbaits/suckers get the nod. What are your thoughts? |

Location: musky waters of SE, WI | DCGs have worked for me until the end of the year. The key i think is to reel them just enough to get the blades spinning. Most of the time im using Super Models and slow rolling them. Of course i use jerkbaits as well. Everyone has there own opinions, if your catching fish on a jerkbait or crankbait your probably not going to change to a bucktail and see if that works. |

| I have been having a lot of action this fall on Double 10's and 13's. I use them the same way Ryan does. Cast them out and slowly reel them in. Get the bait as deep as possible, and make sure you figure 8 after every cast.
If the fish are shallow try jerbaits and glide baits. |
