Have any of you guys tried the new Storm Thunder Beast? They were great this past weekend on Vermillion. That lake is heating up. They have great action and hold up very well. The pearl and walleye were our two best colors in the larger size.

Location: Black Creek, WI | Interesting lure. I fished with the large model last week. They run pretty shallow but seem pretty durable. I may try cutting the tail off and melting it back on "upside down".... hoping that the tail-down position will help push the head of the bait down more and allow for greater depth capability. |

We picked ours up at Thorne's. I think they were around 23 bucks. I saw that Rollie and Helens have them to. We caught 3 fish on the 12 oz walleye pattern, you can barley tell that its been used. The rubber that Storm uses seems to be more durable than most out there. I really wish there was an orange and white pattern.

I have the smaller version. It runs between a shallow and reg dawg. The tail is pretty wide which seems to hold it up in the water more. I think it looks great in the water, but I haven't seen a fish on it yet. It will get ate.

Any Idea if Fleet Farm will be carrying these? They always have an ample stock of Storm lures.
