Location: The desert | I believe a few members on here have been there and done some fishing. Someone my mom knows is wanting to do a guided trip out there, I believe for some flats fly fishing. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good guides out that way. Thanks in advance. |

| I fished there with a guide a day a couple of years ago for bones. I believe the outfit was called Silver Deep. Did well. |

I lived on South Caicos for a few months. Mostly commercial fishermen from that island, but there was one gentleman who ran air boat/prop boat flats trips for bonefish (barracuda is more bycatch). Bibo Jayne is his name. Super nice guy and very friendly. Either he will guide or one of the locals from South Caicos does (can't remember that guy's name though). Pretty cool experience and there are GIANT flats within a few minutes of where he "launches" from... and no one else fishes them.
Providenciales is the big touristy island where more guides operate from. Didn't visit there except to catch planes, so can't help you there. |

| Highly recommend getting some diving in while down there...nice thing is the surface time between dives can be filled with fishing with some dive masters..... |

| Barr Gardener @ Bonefishunlimited. Superb guide, with an extensive knowledge of the flats and yearly patterns.
Art Dean runs a service there, too, I think it's Silver Deep. Haven't fished with them, but have a couple friends that have fished sails and cubera.
Now, if the guy is able to drop the bank, JR Delancy at Meridian Club is the best guide in the region, fishing some of the best water on Earth.
I know a couple other guides down there, but those would be the top three that I'd send someone to fish with. |
