| At what air temps. do you guys remove your electronics from the boat when trailering to the lakes? I was thinking when it hits the 32 degree freezing mark but wanted to get some other opinions.

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | any temperature under 500 degrees Farenheit. Remove them all to protect from rock chips, vibration, road grime, etc. |

Location: Rhinelander. | Sometime back we had a rep from one of the manufacturers at a club meeting. He said its not a bad thing to remove them when your going to drive any considerable distance. His point was why not remove them as its easy. He also said why would you want to leave them on and put them through all that extra vibration od a longer haul. Said its better to be safe then get to your destination and find out something bad came to happen on the trip to your fishing spot. Makes sense to me.
