Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | We arrived at about 5:15, and TJ and Steve bolted for the water as I set up our cabin and virtual 'office'. No reports yet as everyone is still on the water, but we meet for Pizza on Spring Bay and a few Beers from our friends at Tuffy Boats at The Landing tonight, and we'll see what's transpired and get water temps and fish activity posted.
Winds are near calm, skies cloudy, and temps in the 40's. Those of you who wimped out because it was going too be 'cold' might have missed one you should have been to....if for no other reason to drink Jerome's beer and talk with Rudy!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Not many folks on the water yet, a good number are arriving tomorrow. The bite was mixed the last couple days, but the stabil weather due this week looks good; we'll see! TJ and Steve didn't move a fish in the hour they were out, and a couple others reported seeing a tanker or two today.
Thanks to Spring Bay resort for Pizza tonight at the Landing, and Tuffy Boats for a few drinks for the crew. Good times...

Catch a 60"er and take 40 pictures with different lenses so you don't miss a scale of fish

Location: Medford, WI | Haha....I know it is! I really wish I were up there with you guys. Freakin' financial aid still hasn't come and there's next to nothing for jobs here right now...kind of sucks. With all that being said, I will be heading to Vilas tomorow after classes for a long weekend of camping and fishing. I'd much rather be up by you guys, but hopefully we can get some northern Wis pigs. I hope (well, I guess it wouldn't be hoping because I know you WILL) have a great time up at Spring Bay. Tell Jerome, Joe and Steve hi for me and I'll be getting a hold of Steve in the next few weeks about our video.
Catch some big ones guys!
-Jake Bucki
P.S. Make sure Jerome isn't throwing that 2-pounder...I don't want that ol...middle-aged guy getting hurt so we can't get out later this fall! Just messin' with you Jerome! Whoever has the pleasure of being in your boat this weekend should be very thankful.

Location: La Crosse, WI | Finally almost ready to leave the house. Hope the silicone on the boat skins enough to handle the water (new transom). These are the two custom walleye colored bucktails I will be throwing much of the outing. Pretty sure I will be hooking at least one;) See you in a few hours. Josh.
