I currently use spiderwire 80lb. braid. When it gets below freezing it ices up a little but nowhere near as bad as a none coated braid. Still, I am looking for a braid that will soak up even less water. Any suggestions?

I will be trying Yo-zuri Hybrid this fall, supposed to work really well. It's available in 60lb test.

They all soak up some water. Powerpro seems to soak up more than others, Cortland Spectron is a bit better. I've found that as your line wears throughout the season it tends to soak up more and more water, so by late fall, it's like a sponge. Might make sense to change out your line in the fall instead of at the beginning of the season....
