Location: Medford, WI | Bring it on!!! Not a whole lot better than a nice, cold snowy day of catching muskies in northern Wisconsin! I'll be up north camping/fishing with a buddy this weekend as well as the next. When we get snow, we typically do very well. Doesn't get much better than this. I'm pumped! The fish may be pushed shallow this weekend...if so, there's going to be some big girls caught.

So much for the "global warming" debate. . .
Somebody always comes up with a comment like this, but one snow, one season, one winter, is only anectdotal in the long term outlook.

Thank al gore for global warming. If we didn't have global warming there would be 2' of ice right now. |

| firstsixfeet is correct---Not trying to start the GLOBAL WARMING DEBATE AGAIN---but an early snow squall or even a cold snowy winter has nothing to do with a long term trend. Like it or not--the earth is warming--The cause is debatable--but all the facts will tell you it is warming. But I do also like the early snow and hopefully some colder weather as I have a couple weekend trips coming up and the colder the better for me--My results are always better when it gets cold and stays there. Time for me to soak some suckers and cast some big ole Jerkbait/Glidebaits. Gotta Love the Fall!!!!!!!!!!! |

| And the earth warming has to do with us? I dont think we can control the temp of the earth. Again a bunch of blown out of proportion horse poo! Glad to see the falls are back to what they "used" to be. Hopefully this trend will continue the next ten years. |

| Glad to see the falls are back to what they "used" to be.
If they "used" to be record warm, then you're right. Depending on exact location, September 2009 was one of the top 3 warmest in over 120 years of recorded weather history in northern Wisconsin. |

| Some of you libs have to get off the talking points and look into some real scientific facts. The Earth has actually been cooling not warming since 1998, when the warming trend peaked in conjunction with heightened sunspot activity.
Turn off MSNBC (a.k.a microsoft national bias corporation) and turn on some real news. Even most of the libs in the "main stream" have gotten off of calling it "Global Warming" even though they maintain their agenda and now call it "Climate Change".
LMAO!!! |

It amazes me that it is a POLITICAL discussion rather than scientific. How does THAT work, exactly? |

Hopefully this will confuse the monster muskies into thinking that we are in the middle of a full fledged "FALL FEEDING FRENZY"! |

| Where do you people come from? What about the 15+ above average degree days we had during the month of September? Forget about those? And one more thing Sherlock, the weather in Northern Wisconsin has nothing to do with Climate change. 1 degree of warmth at the equator equals 5-15 degrees at the poles.
Have you talked to the hunters in Northern Canada who have to go further and further North to find any animals to hunt? What about the Polar Bears? They can't travel North fast enough as the ice is melting faster than they can migrate.
I have to laugh at anybody who says "So much for global warming" every time it gets cold for a day or two in the early fall or late spring. They sound so stupid and ignorant.
2009 was one of the 5 warmest years ever recorded and that's a fact. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Tex. |

And what constitutes real news? Foxnews? LMAO!!
Foxnews is nothing but a propaganda ministry for rednecks. The big corporations have you exactly where they want you. I bet Foxnews could do jedi mind tricks on 99% of their viewers if they wanted.
Republicans are the people who don't believe in helping the environment, they don't believe in global warming or any facts from scientists yet they actually believe when they die they are going to a place where eveything is all gravy and pancakes.
I'm not the fool who believes in ferry tales. You are.

If they aren't going on what you have thrown, switch to a small reef hawg for your "speed" bait, and a weighted suick for your "slow" bait. |
