| All Glass for trolling? really stiff for live bait? Is that about right? |

| I have had good luck holding up to speed, Weeds or hooking muskies on suckers in frigid weather using Bass Pros Catfish Rods, all 8 footers.
Running your rod tips under water sometimes collects a few weeds on the tips; A stealth rod is a must.
Hope this helps |

Location: north central wisconsin | I've been running the Tooth Tamer 8' trolling rods for a few years now, and they have been outstanding for both trolling big/small lures along with livebait running. If you'd like more info or would like to purchase one please drop me a PM. They retail for $129 and have been well worth it in my opinion. |

Location: On the River | I use Shakespere 8ft. Catfish rods for trolling $33.00 ea. They work great
For Suckers I use Ulgy Stick 6' 6" Model CALM110066 $39.00 ea.
I have caught several hundred muskies on that Ulgy Stick. |
