Where are you seeing this listed? I guess they're the same thing, as in tackle circles, black nickel is smoke colored. To my knowledge, there's nickel and there's black nickel...at least where I get my blades from there's those two.

The black/nickle is your basic black skirt, nickle blade. As esoxfly mentioned the smoke or sometimes refered to as black-nickle is a dark/black metallic finish. It has a little less flash than a standard nickle color but creates more of silohette.

They are the same thing. Some people call it smoke ,others black nickle. I call it black nickle. Took me a while to realize it was blk/nic when I heard people talking about smoke.

On the Musky Tackle Online site, if you go to the black/nickle smoke on the custom color page it has more glitter, rather than the regular page black/nickle.

The guys here correctly described the blades. "Black Nickel" and "Smoke" are the same thing. 50"Skie - The Black/Smoke on my customs page, I have them tie with a holographic black skirt rather than the standard black that they typically use. But I can get them tied either way.
