| The last couple of times we fished, there are significant schools of baitfish breaking on the surface. Some are suspended and some are over weed structures. We dropped a camera off of a point and saw a huge school of sunfish. It was not a school of huge sunfish...I know there is a joke here but cannot come up with it. We have been fishing the edges and underneath and are coming up with some nice bass, but no muskies or northerns. If I am looking for toothy critters should I do something differently?

Location: SE Wisconsin | Nope. . . Stick with it. Don't limit yourself to outside edges and underneath the school, rip it right through the middle and get them to break apart. Musky sitting below are gonna find some interest in what caused the drama, so hang on tight. |

Location: syracuse indiana | sam's right on there... thats what i do all the time on open water . either ripping a bait through them or using a fuzzy in there will produce too.. they cant help themselves . if something is disturbing their food they will check it out and usually eat it fore their trouble...bill |
