Just got back from Minaki tonight. Conditions were tough. We had zero rain, flat calm, 6 hours' worth of clouds in 10 days. Water was 67 when we got there, 71.7 when we left.

I managed to scratch out a 33, 41 and 42 and lost my first ever bonafide 50+. My partner on the other hand, caught his first muskie ever - a nice 49" fish.

The rest of our group caught a few more low 40's, 45, 46, 47.5 and 48.5.

Every single fish, with the exception of the one that I lost, were caught out of weeds and many were shallow weeds.

I'll try to post up a pic of my rookie partner's first fish.
