Subject: Running Alt Charger w/ On Board Charger

Location: Passaic, NJ - Upper French River, ON		Don't like to run the generator on trips to charge my trolling batteries, so I was wondering if anyone had both the alternator charger and an on board charger wired up. Would switches be needed to shut off power when the other charger was on ? Any experience with the alternator chargers would be appreciated.

I've got the Minn Kota 2 bank charger that runs off the main motor for long trips. Works great!
