| I used to quite a bit when I lived in IL, I actually caught my very first muskie as a little kid. I caught it the first year they ever stocked them...about a 9 inch fingerling...later in the late 90's I caught some really nice fish there as well....BR |

| I do every week. I live about 10 minutes away. No fish there, so all you Wisconsin people just stay in Wisconsin! LOL. I wish they would put a no take on any of the fish in the lake for a couple of years. It could be awesome! The weekends are terrible busy. No fishing from shore as the weedline stretches about 20 yards out around the entire lake. Trailer parking on the weekend is also kind of tough just due to the volume of walkers, hikers, etc. Overall a great place south of the border! |

| I`ve fished that lake before, did not see a thing,I talked to a guy that told me he caught a 51 incher out of that lake but after fishing the lake it must be a big fish only lake.We were camping for a week out there this summer and never caught a muskie. |

Location: beloit | about the only time I fish it is before WI opens. casting there can be tuff, the troll bite is good from what I understand. |

Location: Crystal Lake,Illinois 60014 | Its a tough lake to crack. Extremely weather sensitive and patterns seem to be based off of shadpods/spawn and weather conditions.
I do very well out there, but I and a few others have put in enough time(skunkings also) to see the results.
Casting and Trolling are very effective. Pick your days wisely.

| I just started targeting muskies here this year and have had good success by way of trolling, also connected with some casting for largies, anyways I was never into trolling and now I have two more rod holders coming for boards, in the month of june I got about fifteen ski's but none were over 36in, trust me I've had many skunks also out there that's fishing for ya. Esoxjake I've seen you on lake-link, I'm wishilivedinWI on there. My name is Nick, nice to hear from you all and know that others fish this lake, I for years fished here but never connected on a ski until this year and specifically trolling, I do however prefer casting at other lakes but I've seen the EFFECTIVENESS of trolling out here, now to try it on the southern wi lakes, I want the fall bite here now, lol. |

Location: Loves Park, IL | I fish Pierce Lake regularly for musky. As others have said it can be tough....extremely tough. There are some good sized musky in Pierce Lake considering its size. It seems to be a low light, after dark bite. Trolling and casting can be effective at any given time. Fish can be caught anywhere in this lake, whether it be along a shallow shoreline or mid lake in 20+ feet of water. |

Location: Crystal Lake,Illinois 60014 | Its been quite stale right now, fish are really scattered, big girls should be showing up when those pods tighten back up into the cold bays.
Im thinking next week, right now im hitting my local lake all week.

|
| what can i do to finaly catch monster bass |
|
|
|
| Crank points, slow roll spinnerbaits through the weeds (charturuse), flip the wood!!!
Identify the pattern, and slay you some pigs!
Good luck, i'd like to hear how you do |

| I saw someone hook and lose a monster bass in the slop at the top of the spillway on a bluegill.
The problem is getting them out of the water and up 20 feet to the railing. Maybe try a "landing bucket" with holes in it and a long rope.
