| I'm doing some research and need your help. Without divulging the exact location, I'm interested in knowing the names of the areas/spots/locations on these 3 Milwaukee area lakes where you fish. You can share the common names or your own names. I'll start with some examples I know including one on Oconomowoc I have a question about:
Pewaukee: the condos, the rock bar, rocky point, waukesha beach, boiled frog bay, the narrows
Okauchee: the volcano, ice house bay, the boobs, the road bed, breezy point, crazyman island, stumpy bay
Oconomowoc: what's the name of the 3 humps in the smaller section of lake north of the narrows?
Thanks,

| The guys who really like to fish Pewaukee and Okauchee can best be seen all over the best spots on those lakes by signing up for the Ironman events that begin in just a couple of weeks in Madison on October 3rd and 4th. Pewaukee and Okauchee have back to back one day events October 24th and 25th and then back to Pewuakee again on November 7th. These are smaller tournaments, pretty darn friendly, and a perfect way to see where some of the better local guys choose to fish when it counts for the money. See Ironmanmusky.com Marty Forman | |

| I'm not interested in stealing your spots - just looking for the names people use to refer to locations/reference points.
I'm wanting to understand the lingo so I can refer to my spots with generally understood location names.
Example:
Confusing: "I had a good follow by the bouy just to the north of that island on the west end of the lake with some buildings on it - you know the one just out from the boat landing on the west end of the lake"
Better: "I had a good follow by the bouy just to the north of cottage island"
I think I have a pretty good handle with most of the names on Pewaukee, but I'm really interested in the some help for Okauchee and Oconomowoc.
Thanks much,

| The three humps in the smaller lake of Oconomowoc Lake are commonly referred to as "The Triplets" | |

Location: SE Wisconsin | Oconomowoc doesn't really have a whole lot of community "referred to as" spots. . . Some lakes that don't get pressured are better off that way, otherwise it takes away from those who seek refuge on those particular bodies of water. You pretty much have all the names down for Pewee and Okauchee except for a few others that can't/won't be publicly exposed. Once you get in the mix with some of the locals to these specific bodies of water, eventually you trade a few "named" spots, but it's always understood that exchanged info is meant for you and you only, so if you blabber mouth it you get thrown out of the circle of trust. | |

| If I really must share, those condos on the North West shore are referred to as the "Ugly Condos" (naturally with hopefully no offense to anybody here who might reside there.) And, they are totally not in the archetectural spirit of the place! Marty Forman | |
