| Here are some of the wide Gifts up for sale.
Some guys inquired about them just for collecting, but they will fish. None of them are done. If you buy one, you get to tell me how to finish them.
Weight holes are showing. Do you want the whole belly painted, or just the holes?
All of them can be tinted. I say tinted instead of painted because I won't cover any of the natural striping unless you say so. You pick the color or pattern. Bottom ones can be Perch or Pike, you make the call.
If interested, e-mail [email protected] we'll talk over how you would like them finished. All lures need 2 more coats of E-Tex.
I also have the thinner ones that will be available soon. (See pictures in Basement Forum) Those can be finished as you like also.
Fatties are $40
Others are $30
Send me an e-mail to pick yours.
Beaver

| It's called Figured Big Leaf Maple. I got it from a guy in Oregon. I've seen other stuff that people called Tiger Maple, but it doesn't have a fraction of the figuring that this stuff does. |

| Quilted big leaf is a different species altogether than what would be had on the UP. They're gorgeous, Beav. If you ever come across another batch of it... |

| How can you afford it? Don't the gun makers and guitar makers make it a tough buy? |

| They only want 'Certain' pieces. Sometimes the scraps are big enough. But even the scraps are not cheap. There are 2 types...Quilted Big Leaf Maple that has a really ornate design in it, and Figured Big Leaf Maple that has the stripes. Gun makers and guitar makers, though they will use Figured Big Leaf, use lots of Quilted Big Leaf. The price of the lumber is reflected in the price of the lures. So is the size. I kept some beauties for myself, and they were all 12" long. I tried to use every bit of a piece of wood that I could.
God wasn't fooling around when He created this stuff.
